For as long as I can remember, I have always had an interest in the arts; music, singing, performing, dance - anything creative. Growing up, I was inventive, and definitely not one to take "can't" or "won't" for an answer. As I headed into my third year of college as a nursing major, I knew that it wasn't where I was called to be, so I changed course to interior design.
Throughout college, I had a ~ very ~ small photography business for some extra side money, simply because I loved the joy of capturing people and some of their biggest life moments behind the camera. Graduating with my bachelor's of science in interior design, I worked in the field my first year out of school as a contract worker for a few different businesses. I still worked my photography business on the side, and continued to gain clientele. God kept showing me time and time again that this is where I was meant to be, so on October 10, 2021, Carver + Co was launched, and I haven't looked back a day since.
I am so grateful for the people who have been (and continue to be) placed in my life who walk beside me on this journey. Every photo session sparks joy and creativity, and
I can truly say that I love what I do.

Ashley was amazing to work with! I appreciated that she scheduled to talk with me about my vision and expectations for my wedding day and engagement sessions before booking.
